Thank you for always pushing me to do my best, for believing in me, and for helping me believe in myself. I value all the advice you have given me and especially your honesty and sincerity. But achieving a balanced education is just one of the benefits of studying the Arts: Students gain important life skills as they learn the value of critical feedback, both positive and constructive.
Professor Rand teaches at a variety of levels within one classroom. Students are engaged in activities every session while concurrently and unrecognizably grasping information that seemed far beyond comprehension. Other teachers have a tendency to design lectures and labs for the average student.
In the classroom, Rich is an inspiring instructor, encouraging and uncompromising.

You have always had an answer for a quick question, guidance for a dilemma, and hours of your time to give direction. From Years 9 to 12 students have the opportunity to take Drama as an elective. That the idea of acting was just that, an idea or a dream that wasn't realistic for my life. You truly built a trust and respect among the cast.
I want to give you the biggest thank you for your role in my journey at Purdue. Please know that your passion has affected me immeasurably.
